The latest features and improvements we’ve shipped to My SchoolMitra.
Periodic Assessment— September 21, 2026
- School admins and teachers can now record skill-based term report cards — Learning / Meets Expectation / Excellent — instead of numeric marks, matching the school's printed report format
- New "Periodic Assessment" tab under Exams & Results — pick a class and section, then fill in every student's report by subject and skill across all three terms
- Teacher Observation notes can be written from one of 10 ready-made templates — just fill in the specific detail, the school's name is added automatically
- Sending a report to a parent or publishing an entire section now asks for confirmation first, and says plainly who's about to be notified
- Reports can be printed for one student or for a whole section at once, formatted to fit A4 — including the school's own report layout and border
- Published reports appear in the parent portal under a new "Periodic Assessment" page, laid out the same way as the printed sheet
Subject Teacher Permissions— September 10, 2026
- School admins can now decide exactly what a teacher who only teaches one subject in a section is allowed to do there
- New "Subject teacher assignments" section on each teacher's profile in the School Admin portal
- Turn any permission on or off at any time — no need to remove and re-add
- The same subject can now be taught by more than one teacher in a section
- Set a class (homeroom) teacher and assign them a subject in a single step
- Filter and sort the Teachers list by role — Class Teacher, Subject Teacher, or Both — and by subject
- Teachers see only the classes and subjects they've been given; anywhere else shows a clear "contact your School Admin" message
- Available in both the web portal and the mobile app.
